Organic Timilia Durum Wheat Whole Wheat Tagliatelle
Organic, whole wheat noodles are made from an ancient Sicilian wheat, specifically the Timilia variety, a prized wheat that is grown in Sicily and is rich in protein, minerals and vitamins.
Processing is done according to theancient pasta-making tradition. The whole-wheat semolina flour isstone milled and the drawing process is bronze.
The result is that of an organic whole wheat pasta with numerous benefits and a unique taste, because since it is an artisanal-type production chain, the Timilia wheat is processed in respect of the raw materials used, which are 100% organic Sicilian.
Drying is slow and takes place at low temperature.Whole wheat noodles with organic Timilia flour (also called “Tumminia” flour ) are fragrant and aromatic, dark in color and lend themselves well to any kind of seasoning.
The ‘entire production chain is strictly local and completely organic.
