Citron is one of the oldest citrus fruits. Together with pomelo and tangerine they constitute the three original varieties from which all citrus fruits have since descended, through natural or man-made hybridization.

The ‘ albedo is the inner white part between the skin and flesh, which is very thick, and makes up nearly 70% of the fruit. It has little pulp inside and little juice and seeds, which may be entirely absent. It is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and has excellent digestive qualities.

Organic Cedar

Citron is one of the oldest citrus fruits of Sicily along with pomelo and mandarin, from which all citrus fruits are descended by natural or man-made hybridization.
It has an oval shape, is large in size, and each fruit can exceed even one kilogram in weight.
The skin is deep yellow, globular and wrinkled. The inner white part (albedo) is full-bodied and accounts for more than 70% of the fruit.

Cedar is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, with excellent has digestive qualities.
It has a sweet and pleasant taste and the flesh is tender, almost seedless.

This product is sold in 6 kg Cardboard Box.
